How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?
- Using Blogger meant we could put all our research, planning and answers to questions onto our blogs so they could be read and marked by teachers and examiners. It also gives us the chance to share work with our group members easily online as we can follow each other blogs. As it is all saved online it means we could access our blogs from any computer with internet access, making our work quick and easy to do anywhere.

- The internet, gave us the opportunity to easily find information we needed about bands and also when looking for locations. We could also watch videos and look at pictures to help us learn about the history of music videos and find out what we needed about bands. We could also easily embed pictures and videos onto our blogs to prove the work had been done.
- YouTube made it easy to watch other indie music videos to help get ideas and research the codes and conventions of the videos. When we started planning we knew what were good things to put in our video and what wasn’t right for this genre. As all the videos are already uploaded to YouTube we could simply type in what we wanted and it would be there ready to watch, we didn’t have to wait until it came on TV on a music channel, it was just there for us to watch and put on our blogs on into presentations. We were also able to upload our own videos so we cold then get feedback from YouTube and then embed our videos onto our blogs.

- Wikipedia made all our research simple and quick. For any band we could easily find out facts about them that we needed just by typing it into the search bar. It had all of their history and specific dates, it is also a reliable source so we could use the facts to answer questions. As Wikipedia is all online it gives us a specific search rather than having to look through lots of different blogs.

- Frame Grab as very helpful for when researching individual videos and putting up evidence onto planning blogs. It meant we could easily take print screens of the video we were researching or frame grab audience feedback on Facebook. This made the research presentations more interesting to look at as you could see print screens of the video explained, rather than having to print the pictures off and write about them on paper and then scan it in to put it on our blog. It also made it easier for us to prove we had emailed our teachers and been given audience feedback.
- Slideshare and scribd made putting our presentations and work online very easy. We could then share them with the rest of our group or just then simply upload them onto our blogs.

- We used a digital SLR camera to take the still photos for our digipak and advertisement. We used a HD camcorder to film our music video. This meant the quality of our pictures and moving images was very high, making our work look much better quality and of a higher standard.
- Using iMovie meant we were able to edit our film together easily. It meant we could change the effects, so we could add and effect when we wanted it to look like a flashback. We were able to do all our editing in school and upload it straight from iMovie onto YouTube.
